In 26 years we’ve never had to have a formal warranty policy. We’ve sold thousands and thousands and thousands of products with virtually no issues. We take pride in the quality of our products and we endeavor to ensure that all of the components of our products, whether it be the fabric, stitching or trims, are top-quality!

Occasionally, on older garments 2, 3, 5, 10 years down the road we might have a zipper failure or an occasional seam come loose, but these instances are rare….very, very rare and are normally the result of regular wear and tear.

As such, we’ve always handled any issues on a case-by-case basis as our goal is to take good care of our customers. We always do our best to ensure our customers are happy and satisfied. 

As of late, however, we’re getting more and more customers that are having “issues”. Once we dig a little deeper into the issue we are finding that it is not our product but actually more “user error” or sadly, dishonesty. 

We’ve tried to build our brand with integrity, compassion, and care for our customers and their safety, yet lately, we are feeling a little bit taken advantage of. 

So, here goes…a formal policy. 

Bohn Body Armor Warranty:

If a problem occurs with a Bohn Body Armor product and the problem is caused by manufacturing defects in material or workmanship, we will, at our discretion, either fix or replace the product in accordance with the warranty terms and conditions stated here. This warranty applies only to the person who has purchased the product or to the person who has received the product as a gift.

Our guarantee applies to all Bohn Body Armor items purchased online through our website or through an authorized Bohn Body Armor retailer. Please note, every item is subject to an evaluation by our team.

We also cannot be held responsible for loss, damage or cost resulting from the use or loss of our products. Please note that general wear and tear, including but not limited to the breakdown of colors and materials over time, is not considered a material or manufacturing defect and is therefore not covered by our warranties. Stuff gets old and wears out. If you need to replace a fabric shell, we make that easy for you to do. If you break a zipper, we have a replacement kit available. 

Bohn Body Armor will not honor fake or fraudulent warranty claims and reserves the right, in our sole discretion, to reject any warranty claims that we suspect to be fraudulent (see list below of actual customers’ warranty “issues” that are fraudulent).

Let’s be frank….We’ve been selling our Body Guard garments (shirts, pants and shorts) for 26 years. We’ve used the same fabric, dyes, elastics and zippers since then. We know when an item has not been cared for and we can spot a lack of care a mile away. So please be honest when you are claiming a warranty issue. We want our customers to be happy an safe, let’s work together to make this possible.
