Bohn Moves Headquarters to North Carolina

Bohn is moving its corporate headquarters from Chico, CA to the Charlotte, N.C., area, the company announced Thursday.

In a statement, Bohn CEO, Kristen Staggs, said the move from the company’s existing facility in Chico, CA, to the East Coast “Makes strategic sense. We have a huge customer base on the East Coast and it’s much closer to motorcycle events and shows and closer to clothing manufacturing facilities.”

“This new location will puts us closer to the motorsports industry as a whole.” Mooresville, Bohn’s new N.C. home, is dubbed Race City USA due to the number of NASCAR and race-related facilities, teams and manufacturing facilities that make their home in the quaint little town.

For years it has been difficult to reach their customers “physically”. Bohn is in a remote city in Northern California where it was difficult to have customers visit and for Bohn team members to attend rides and events. Their new facility will have a small store and clearance area where customers can visit and try on products before they buy or snag a good deal on clearance items.

With close proximity to some of the most beautiful riding in the country (i.e the Blue Ridge Parkway, Tail of the Dragon) and situated close to i77 which is a bypass for many Northeastern Motorcycle riders as they go south to Florida, Bohn’s new store and headquarters will be an easy stop off for riders visiting or passing through North Carolina.

“We are very excited to finally meet our customers. Having a physical location where people can come in and try clothes on will also help us learn what our customers look like and what they need.”

“After 23.5 years in CA, we are excited. It is time to move and shift so that we can grow the business and serve our customers better. ”

Bohn plans to leave CA in January and be up and running by February 2021.
