Thank you for making a terrific product. I crashed at 70mph last weekend and I was barely injured. The knee armor in the Bohn pants worked perfectly to cushion the impact. I have some swelling and road rash but not a single fracture. Thank you most sincerely.

That’s a good thing, too, since I crashed last week and did about 5 revolutions rolling down the road after a car cut me off. I could have been killed, easily.
BUT……I remembered to draw my arms to my chest as I continued to roll – and roll – and roll. When I finally came to a stop on the side of the road I sat up and looked myself over.
I found that not only was I alive, but YOUR armor protected me to the extent that I only got two small scrapes. I was a little sore for a few days. My helmet has a scrape on it. My shirt suffered a tear. The Bohn Armor Airtex Shirt got a couple tears in it. THAT’S IT!
I swear, I am living proof that your product is protective to the point it saves lives.

I received a pair of your Bohn Body Armor Pants about a week ago and tried them for the first time yesterday. I have been desperately looking ever since for the place on your website where I can post a review, so I can start trumpeting to the world how much I LOVE this product!!! Comfort, quality, cost-effectiveness, looks, and SAFETY…this gear has it all!
Being a female rider, I’ll admit it…I wanna look hot on my bike. I typically wear fairly sleek pants for riding, and I wore your Bohn Armored Pants under pretty tight jeans yesterday. No one even noticed that I had them on and I practically forgot that I was wearing them! I felt safer riding my little sport bike knowing that if something happened, I’d have some protection. That lets me ride with a calm mind…and THAT lets me ride better! I’ve already recommended your site to several friends and will continue to do so.
I also play Roller Derby and was thinking that this gear would actually be pretty awesome to wear to offer some protection to shins, hips, and tail bone (things commonly bruised and banged up in Derby) in addition to the normal knee pads/elbow pads, etc. when playing and practicing such a hard-hitting sport! Niche market maybe???

The long hard slide on asphalt tore my jeans and wore a hole through my left knee pad down to my knee – with only minor injury to the knee. I probably wouldn’t have a knee cap if I hadn’t been wearing the body armor. I recommend them to everyone.
My wife and I have ridden thousands of miles but very few at night because of the high risk of deer or moose collisions in our ride zone – Maine and North Eastern Canada. Unfortunately for us, our accident happened at 11:45 am.
The deer we were involved with was in a dead run and only made herself visible to me as she leaped over a guardrail directly into our path. A fraction of a second on either side of that leap and we would have missed the deer.
We survived and will live to ride again. Maybe my next bike will have a deer whistle for added insurance….it can’t hurt.
I bought a set of the shirt plus the armored pants last Spring and have worn them all season under my leathers. These are wonderful products and I have told just about anyone who would listen all about the profound protection one gets with comfort.
Now that the bike is in winter storage, I decided to join a pickup ladies ice hockey team. For protection on the ice I am using your armored pants and shirt!! They are great for hockey too! Now my armored gear gets to be used ALL YEAR round. The girls on the team have made some pretty favorable comments on Bohn’s style and protection.
I certainly get my equipment on and off a lot faster than the other players and I feel just as protected if not better than buying and using traditional hockey gear. I just wear my textile motorcycle pants over the adventure pants for even more protection at the knees and hip. I told the girls on the team that someday I might be wearing this Bohn armor as protection from falls when I’m 80 years old! The tailbone armor is most important in hockey.

Hi, I bought your Airtex armored shirt and pants at the International Motorcycle Show in Long Beach, CA. A few weeks ago, the weather was perfect for riding, even a little hot, the type of day that I would normally ride with just an tank top, and definitely no jacket. I did however decide to use the Airtex shirt for the first time by itself without a jacket, since it is light and breezy. At some portion of my commute that day, two vehicles, a very bad road and maybe a little of my own arrogance got the better of me. Despite the hard collision with the asphalt and my ego, I walked away with just a couple of scrapes and bruises. Witnesses were surprised I had not broken my shoulder, arm and a number of other bones.
Anyway, I thought you’d like to know that your product has made a believer out of me and the select few who saw my kamikaze flight through the air. I can only imagine the numerous injuries that I luckily avoided by wearing the armor.
