On 8/15, I wore your Cool-Air Mesh Armored Pants. I was on a 3-1/2 hr ride. I rode off the side of a mountain and fell 175 ft down the mountain.
Due to your pants, my legs did not have any scratches, contusion, abrasions or bruises. The doctors at the hospital could not believe their eyes.

Naturally my bike was a total loss.
I ordered the Cool-Air Pants in December to use with my motorcycle, but also to use mountain biking. The southern New England winter has kept the motorcycles in the garage, but I was able to do some mountain bike single track in January wearing the pants before the snow got too deep.
I’m 74 and living with a broken neck, rebuilt shoulder, 2 replaced knees, major back surgery and rebuilt thumb (happenings from 1954- 2014), due to osteoarthritis except for the neck.
I found your pants to be essentially unnoticeable after a few minutes of riding. They saved my bacon twice while trying to make it over a couple of stone walls. I love them and I consider them well worth the money. Looking forward to getting on the MC with them soon. I’ll have to consider the shirt for mountain biking.
I received a pair of your Bohn Body Armor Pants about a week ago and tried them for the first time yesterday. I have been desperately looking ever since for the place on your website where I can post a review, so I can start trumpeting to the world how much I LOVE this product!!! Comfort, quality, cost-effectiveness, looks, and SAFETY…this gear has it all!
Being a female rider, I’ll admit it…I wanna look hot on my bike. I typically wear fairly sleek pants for riding, and I wore your Bohn Armored Pants under pretty tight jeans yesterday. No one even noticed that I had them on and I practically forgot that I was wearing them! I felt safer riding my little sport bike knowing that if something happened, I’d have some protection. That lets me ride with a calm mind…and THAT lets me ride better! I’ve already recommended your site to several friends and will continue to do so.
I also play Roller Derby and was thinking that this gear would actually be pretty awesome to wear to offer some protection to shins, hips, and tail bone (things commonly bruised and banged up in Derby) in addition to the normal knee pads/elbow pads, etc. when playing and practicing such a hard-hitting sport! Niche market maybe???

I’ll spare you the gory and embarrassing details but I would just like to thank you for a truly wonderful product. Seeing as I was just going down the street to drop the bike at the shop I almost convinced myself I didn’t need to wear my body armor. Good sense prevailed and I put it on–the bike never made it to the shop but I’m still here with just a little road rash on my stomach. By all rights I had no business walking away from that with just a scratch. Your product worked as advertised. The smartest investment I’ve ever made. Thanks again!
I was skeptical when I placed my order. I have been riding for 37 years so I’m not a newcomer. I’ve been using your mesh Armor riding shirt and not only is it the best, but I wish I had your product years ago.

Just few words to tell you how, by the grace of God, and your under armour saved my life after a T-bone crash at 40mph; although I was taken to the emergency room with bruises, a torn calf muscle, hyper-extended dislocated thumb and a head concussion I had no broken bones. Great product!
I had a chance to test the Adventure pants I purchased from you, on a low speed ( 20kph) fall on a rock surface back in October 2011, no harm done on the protected area, the pants performed as designed, as for me, trying to avoid the bike fell, twisted and broke the left ankle, everything is OK now.
One more thing: the design of the pants and the zippers at the leg cuffs allowed me to pull them off easily despite the ankle injury, which is nice since most of time at Emergency rooms, the personnel just use big scissors to cut thru the fabrics.
Hey! Your product is OUTSTANDING! I ordered SHORTLY before a trip and you hussled and got them to me in time for departure. It was a 5K mile ride ALONE many miles after dark, all night sometimes! The confidence I had that I would survive a deer accident was reason enough to be happy with my purchase! I also did a Tail of The Dragon area ride for another 4K miles and wore it under jeans and leather pants! Both trips it got over 100 degrees and I was still comfortable! Great stuff! Now my problem is, I can’t feel right riding with my Girlfriend unless she also has it on…So I want to order her a suit, top and bottom and me a new pair of pants only, (Shell) as I have the armor…
Trust me when I say I am out there traveling all the time and selling and demonstrating your product for safety’s sake.
I have 60K on my 07 bike I bought in o8. A 3000 mile trip is normal for me, We are Iron Butt riders too. This year I only had 3 weeks vacation and still got 10K miles on the bike.
And we ride in winter! On the darkside!
I ordered some decals to put on the bike.
I felt like such a loser wearing Bohn Armor and my riding partner with the pretty legs has none, so I sprang for it today so we can wear it together. (I used to not wear it while riding with her and I felt NAKED!)
Thank you so much for the gear. I ended up getting hit and knocked off of my bike by a deer while I was going 50 the day after the order arrived. I survived with only bruises under the armor. Thank you again.
My amored pants arrived two days ago and fit perfectly. I like having the thigh protection in and it all feels great.
I am a Motorcycle Instructor with Nova Scotia Safety Services and now they cannot give me grief about my motorcycle gear (I like waterproof Gortex light weight gear instead of leathers). It rains a lot in the Maritimes. Having your gear under my regular gear will be great.
