Just took my first ride today with the adventure pants and they feel great! (See me smiling???)

It took awhile to get them on, and positioned comfortably since I was not use to wearing tights. But, riding the twisties in the Oakland Hills feeling “well protected” was wonderful and I was total relaxed. Several weeks ago I laid it over at a low speed and had it in the back of my mind since. There was no problem wearing them under my normal pants either (I thought they might be too bulky, but they weren’t).

Today, I sent out some emails to friends with a link to your website, and a note on the pants and the mesh units.

My wife said this was an early Christmas present, and I think I will get your shirt early next year after the rains.

Finally, I ordered online Saturday morning, and you shipped on Monday, and I received them Tuesday afternoon. How cool is that? Most places take days or a week+ to get material out so I gotta commend you for your outstanding customer service.

Just wanted to thank you for a great product!

I wear your pants and shirt when racing flat track and they literally saved me two weeks ago.

I had a bad “high-side” dismount which sent me tumbling head-over-heels 6 times across the hard-packed clay track.

I escaped with a bruised toe, broken finger, torn wrist ligaments, and a couple of cracked ribs.

If it hadn’t been for your armor, there isn’t a doubt in my mind that I would have suffered much more severe injuries, and quite probably still be hospitalized today.

I bought a set of the shirt plus the armored pants last Spring and have worn them all season under my leathers. These are wonderful products and I have told just about anyone who would listen all about the profound protection one gets with comfort.

Now that the bike is in winter storage, I decided to join a pickup ladies ice hockey team. For protection on the ice I am using your armored pants and shirt!! They are great for hockey too! Now my armored gear gets to be used ALL YEAR round. The girls on the team have made some pretty favorable comments on Bohn’s style and protection.

I certainly get my equipment on and off a lot faster than the other players and I feel just as protected if not better than buying and using traditional hockey gear. I just wear my textile motorcycle pants over the adventure pants for even more protection at the knees and hip. I told the girls on the team that someday I might be wearing this Bohn armor as protection from falls when I’m 80 years old! The tailbone armor is most important in hockey.

To whom it may concern, I just bit it at a traffic light earlier today when my front tire tucked under when I tried coming to a stop on a large spill of the crystals the state highway puts into its paint to make it reflect at night on the road.

I was wearing your spandex type pants with padding underneath my jeans.

The two things which hit the pavement first was my right knee and my right shoulder. My head never hit the pavement. If it wasn’t for the knee and hip pads in your armor who knows what could’ve happened.

I walked away with a small strawberry on my knee and nothing else. It’s ironic, because I just finished thanking the two guys at the Bohn tent at Laguna Seca for making such a comfortable product.

Thank you to all the men and women at the factory for making a product I can say positively prevented worse damage to my knee and hip area. Keep up the great work.

Hi, I bought your Airtex armored shirt and pants at the International Motorcycle Show in Long Beach, CA. A few weeks ago, the weather was perfect for riding, even a little hot, the type of day that I would normally ride with just an tank top, and definitely no jacket. I did however decide to use the Airtex shirt for the first time by itself without a jacket, since it is light and breezy. At some portion of my commute that day, two vehicles, a very bad road and maybe a little of my own arrogance got the better of me. Despite the hard collision with the asphalt and my ego, I walked away with just a couple of scrapes and bruises. Witnesses were surprised I had not broken my shoulder, arm and a number of other bones.

Anyway, I thought you’d like to know that your product has made a believer out of me and the select few who saw my kamikaze flight through the air. I can only imagine the numerous injuries that I luckily avoided by wearing the armor.
