I was skeptical when I placed my order. I have been riding for 37 years so I’m not a newcomer. I’ve been using your mesh Armor riding shirt and not only is it the best, but I wish I had your product years ago.

Thought I would share a picture prior to a ride today. I am wearing the Bohn Armor Pants and Airtex Shirt in this photo.
Today it was around 100 degrees when I started the ride and around 103 plus humidity at the end. The shirt and pants are absolutely fantastic and allow great airflow. For those who need a shirt over the Airtex, I purchased the UnderArmour heat gear long sleeve as well.
Wonderful products, takes my mind of falling and focusing on riding.
I bought my Airtex shirt separate as there was a promotion for the shirt and pants but I already had riding pants and didn’t want to take a chance on the additional cost. Wish I did! I wrote a letter of thanks to the owner the next day. In the enclosed shot, my motorcycle, Angel, is in the foreground (she’s a 2004 Honda VTX 1300C) and we’re at one of the overlooks on Cheaha Mountain, the highest point in Alabama at about 2,400 feet in Destin in the Talladega National Forest.
Beneath my Bohn Armor Airtex Shirt I’m wearing a SPF 50 UV Shirt by UnderArmor which works nicely with Bohn Armor for both UV protection and wicking moisture. On this late June day it was 98 degrees at 98% humidity and I rode over 400 miles. Wind moves through that shirt as if it isn’t even there and, even in that heat, I wasn’t feeling sticky anywhere beneath the shirt or armor liners.
I will say that I consumed over a gallon of water (externally) by pouring it over my arms, chest and back for the evaporative cooling effect, but that’s what you’re supposed to do in that sort of heat. The shirt fits and performs so perfectly and so comfortably that I’m completely confident in its reliability to do all it’s supposed to if ever needed. And, perhaps most importantly, that added confidence keeps my mind and eyes more on traffic, road conditions and better enjoying the ride, safely.
That Airtex Shirt was the best investment I’ve ever made! Got it on a Thursday and left Saturday morning for two days of riding North GA mountains in 100 degree heat index @100% humidity.
The first day was all twisties, much of it in shaded gaps and I was actually cool. The second day was more sweeps along canyon ridges and interstate in bright sun to and from the canyon rims. On both days I wore a UV T-Shirt beneath and dressed out my arms and face in sunscreen.
On the second day I stopped every hour or so to pour chilled water over my arms, chest and back for the evaporative cooling effect and I was cool – all day long – and confident in being fully protected in the event of a fall. On the interstates in particular I find that the added confidence aids me in keeping my focus where it needs to be.

June 13,2009 I hit a deer with my 2000 Daytona 955i. That is all I remember for the next 2 weeks.
When I became aware I found I had a severely broken R wrist and a loss of 2 feet of my intestines. I was wearing Bohn armor pants and shirt with full armor and the best helmet I can buy. The doctors all said if I would have had more broken bones or lots of road rash or other grievous injury I probably would not be here today.
It was your armor along with my helmet and the grace of God that kept me alive that day. I am a true disciple of ATGATT now, it saved my life. It was and still is a long recovery but I am alive and doing well.
I hope that perhaps someone in your R&D department is working on some type of protection for the belly area. According to all statistics involving motorcycle wrecks that area of the anatomy is injured in a high percentage of crashes.
The bad news is the Bohn gear gave its life for me, so now before spring arrives here in Western Pa. I need to save enough to once again get the best protective gear in the world.

I received my Armored Pants and have been wearing them for a week now. They are absolutely great.
I commute 200 miles round trip to work every day. It is great to be able to wear the attire I need for work and yet still be protected. As you know in Mississippi it gets hot. Lately, we have recorded record highs with high humidity.
I was so impressed with the pants that Yesterday I ordered the Airtex Shirt. I am sure it will make the ride a lot cooler compared to my armored jacket.

I bought a set of the shirt plus the armored pants last Spring and have worn them all season under my leathers. These are wonderful products and I have told just about anyone who would listen all about the profound protection one gets with comfort.
Now that the bike is in winter storage, I decided to join a pickup ladies ice hockey team. For protection on the ice I am using your armored pants and shirt!! They are great for hockey too! Now my armored gear gets to be used ALL YEAR round. The girls on the team have made some pretty favorable comments on Bohn’s style and protection.
I certainly get my equipment on and off a lot faster than the other players and I feel just as protected if not better than buying and using traditional hockey gear. I just wear my textile motorcycle pants over the adventure pants for even more protection at the knees and hip. I told the girls on the team that someday I might be wearing this Bohn armor as protection from falls when I’m 80 years old! The tailbone armor is most important in hockey.

Hi, I bought your Airtex armored shirt and pants at the International Motorcycle Show in Long Beach, CA. A few weeks ago, the weather was perfect for riding, even a little hot, the type of day that I would normally ride with just an tank top, and definitely no jacket. I did however decide to use the Airtex shirt for the first time by itself without a jacket, since it is light and breezy. At some portion of my commute that day, two vehicles, a very bad road and maybe a little of my own arrogance got the better of me. Despite the hard collision with the asphalt and my ego, I walked away with just a couple of scrapes and bruises. Witnesses were surprised I had not broken my shoulder, arm and a number of other bones.
Anyway, I thought you’d like to know that your product has made a believer out of me and the select few who saw my kamikaze flight through the air. I can only imagine the numerous injuries that I luckily avoided by wearing the armor.
